Surrey youth league

The league are monitoring the weather reports and in particular Storm Ciara. Obviously safety must come first and we suggest that home clubs monitor the situation closely particularly Saturday night and early Sunday morning. We ask you to take into account the travelling time and journey of your opponents and communicate effectively with them and your fixture secretary.

We would urge everyone to be sensible and when considering the fixture and to think about the high winds and possible hazards they might present at your particular location as well as the journey for your travelling opponents.

The key to this is teams talking to each other and keeping each other well informed. We suggest this is done by telephone and not e-mail, so please take the time to exchange phone numbers with your opposition for Sunday so that any potential consequences of the storm can be minimised.

Any questions please contact your fixture secreatry in the first instance
