SYL 2012/13 Application Form

Next Season's  ( 2012/13) application form is now available Applications must be received by April 30th to guarantee continued member status .      5  Apr 2012

The league are pleased to announce that we will be playing a 5 v 5 format for U7's next season. We believe it's an exciting opportunity to help develop our young players. It is new and like 9 v9 for U11 will have teething problems. We aim to help you through these and I hope we can all be flexible and understand that it's for the children's benefit. To aid teams in signing on players before the summer holidays the SYL have decided to release next season's Team Registration form early

 The PS number on the Form is the number that is on this years ID card and is fine to use for existing players. Please do NOT use Prawn Sandwich until we tell you to so, (Early June), to register New Players or your existing players, we have to do lots of system changes before then. If you try to register new players now and get numbers, they will be ignored and wiped off when we change things for the new season    20/Mar/2012

Dear all, the introduction of 9 v 9 at under 11 age group has been a fantastic success, this season it was for U11 age group only however next season it will be Under 11 and U12 18/Nov/11

SCFA Referee & coaching course

2012 schedule is now out      for details  18 Nov 2011

A very well attended meeting was held on the November to discuss how the league could help teams wanting to play beyond U-18 the league are now looking at formulating options 18/Nov/11

Referees  - know the rules ?

In accordance with Rule 13 (B) the home Team/Club must also notify the away Team/Club of the name and registration number of the qualified, registered referee who will be officiating the match when you send the away team the details of the game

In SYL games the HOME team must pay the referee rule 13 (f)

If you found your own referee please encourage them to submit a result card via the Referee's page (Advice and then referee's page) 20 Sept 2011
