The nominations page is now open for the League Bill Nash Award.

Bill was a founder of the league in 1966 and had a close association with the league and committee right up  to his sad passing back in 2013. He was a great man and someone who we all owe a great debt as it was his vision that started this wonderful league with just 12 teams in 1966.

As we rapidly approach 1000 teams the league   decided a few seasons ago to honour his name by giving an award to someone who in the nominators eyes deserves special recognition for their efforts in helping provide youth football for children and young people in this league. They could be anyone connected to a club who goes the extra mile or are someone who without simply the club, team or whatever will not function. Every club normally has at least one of these special people.

As far as I am concerned you all deserve a medal as I know better than most how hard it is to run clubs, teams etc. so please have a think about the people in your club and take a few minutes to nominate them by clicking on the following link:
