Financial Assistance for Clubs

Dear Colleagues

I am delighted to advise you that the Trustees of the FA National Sports Centre Trust recently agreed to set up a new grant aid scheme for clubs playing at Step 6 and below of the National League System. This would obviously also include clubs currently playing in leagues not part of the National League System.

The scheme will provide funding towards the cost of the following projects:

Installation of floodlights
New or improvements to Dressing Rooms
The maximum grant will be £10,000 and can be used as partnership funding for clubs seeking financial assistance from other funding agencies such as the Football Foundation.

An applicants County FA and league will be asked to "sign-off" an application.

Application forms are available from Soho Square.
It would be appreciated if you would advertise this new source of funding within your membership with a request that they register their interest by email to me on mike.appleby@thefa.com and I will arrange for the application form to be sent to them.

I hope that you will agree that this will be a welcome boost to clubs seeking to improve their facilities especially now that the Football Foundation have reduced the % level of funding available to clubs.
