U-7 / U8 football

It is FA Rule that U7 must not play fixtures where a score is kept, i.e. no league tables or cup competitions etc. Also that U8 cannot play in cup and similar competitions but can play league fixtures. Action is likely to be taken against Clubs and Leagues for failing to comply and those clubs holding Charter Standard may have the status re-considered. U7 and U8 can play festivals rather than tournaments and if medals or certificates are awarded they should be for every player – again no scores or tables should be kept
