Inflatable “I Goals”

Some of you will have seen and no doubt already used the new inflatable “I Goals”. The league was approached by member clubs who wished to use them for both friendly and competitive matches in this league.

I have sought clarification from Ray Ward general secretary of Surrey County FA on whether or not they can be used of  such purpose and have been told that

 “These goals have been approved for Football Foundation ‘Goalpost Safety’ funding and so are permitted for use by the FA. The goals are approved and as long as the size conforms to league or FA rule, then they can be used. They are available in a range of sizes from mini size up to adult 24' x 8'. “

As they have the approval of the FA this league will permit their use providing that they conform with the appropriate size in the age group they are being used.
