Charter Standard 2009/10

All non Chartered Standard Clubs the SYL invite you to a Charter Standard Workshop  evening at Imber Court Monday 15th March 2010 7.15pm where you will be given:

·        Help and advice on the scheme itself

·        Detailed help with your application

·        The offer of one to one coaching through the process

·        Support form the league and the FA on difficult areas of the scheme.

The league is very supportive of the FA Chartered Standard scheme and I very much hope that one day we will be in a position to have most of our member clubs achieving that status.   However, the league recognises how difficult arranging this can seem and we have got together with the Football Development team at SCFA and arranged this meeting to discuss the process with you in detail and arrange individual help where we can to get you through the process. Please make every effort to attend or send a representative as it is very important that clubs without Charter Standard take this opportunity of help and support with the process. Although SCFA are hosting the evening Middlesex clubs are welcome as the principles of Charter Standard are the same across the FA boundaries. Middlesex clubs will be able to use the advice given to prepare them for the process with MCFA. and contact details will be given out on the night of other county representatives. Two delegates are allowed from each club. The meeting will last approx 1 hour and refreshments will be provided. Please can you e-mail the assistant league secretary Debbie Birch debbie.birch@wsyl.org.uk with the name of the person(s) representing your club or a brief explanation why your club can not be represented on the night.

Kind regards,

Frank Thompson [General Secretary SYL]
